SSH Access

Web Hosting

All Web Hosting plans support SSH access. However, for security reasons SSH access is disabled by default and can be enabled upon request. If you require SSH access to be enabled for your web hosting, please create a support ticket requesting for us to enable it. Please also include a short description of what it will be used for.

Please note that because web hosting accounts are on a shared server, this will be a "jailed" SSH access. This means that you will not have full root access, you can not traverse outside of your own directory, and you will not be able to install any packages at the system level.

All VPS plans support full root SSH access, and it is enabled by default. Because of the OpenVZ architecture, you may not be able to modify core kernel/system files. On KVM VPS there are no restrictions on what can be modified.
