How to show hidden files in cPanel's File Manager

In your cPanel account, search for the 'File Manager' button under the 'Files' category. Once you find it, click on it.

After you clicked it, you will be directed to the File Manager in a new page.

File Manager

To the top right, there will be a button named 'Settings'.

After you clicked it, you will be greeted with a pop-up box.

View closely and you'll see a 'Show Hidden Files (dotfiles).' checkbox at below. Click it and press Save.

This is useful if you want to edit hidden files like .htaccess and more.
